Hello!

I’m a strategic communication professional who is both creative and curious, with a strong interest in local government. I recently earned my master’s in Communication Studies with a concentration in Strategic Communication while working as a Graduate Assistant. I’ve worn many hats as a GA, including Graduate Teaching Assistant, Social Media Marketing Manager, and Office Assistant. These experiences are all very different, but they have strengthened my creativity, professionalism, and leadership skills. My interest in public communication grew immensely after interning with the Village of Mount Prospect for two consecutive summers. There, I supported sustainability initiatives, community relations, social media management, content creation, crisis communication efforts, and more. Working for a village showed me just how important thoughtful communication is in building trust between local governments and the communities they serve. Looking ahead, I'm seeking roles in local government that combine strategic communication and creativity, and I’m eager to build a career in the public sector where I can make a meaningful impact.
